About Magical Blooms...
After six years designing flowers for a reputable beach city florist, art director Jenny Barker decided to take a leap of faith and use her energy and creativity to start her own Redondo Beach-based floral business. She named the company Magical Blooms because it reflects her spirit and belief that, "A room without flowers is a room without life."
Creating inspirational floral arrangements isn't just a job to Barker. It's the realization of a high school dream.
"When I was working at the flower shop, I watched colleagues crank out perfectly acceptable, yet uninspiring arrangements. I wanted to give my clients stunning works of art, so I started my own business in 2000. Now, every arrangement that comes out of my studio is special- just like my customers."
Flowers have a way of transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary, said Barker: "Think of the times you've walked into a room, lobby, or reception hall and been instantly drawn to a canvas of artistically arranged flowers. A combination of floral design, color, and fresh cut scent have a magical way of renewing the spirit, reminding admirers of the wonders of nature."
